Let's set the record straight: My 323 is a pos. No AC, no radio, a dented door, a bit of rust. It looks like hell, runs pretty good most of the time. They aren't known for their reliablity, or strong gearboxes or transfer cases, but mine's done pretty well. I didn't pay much for it, and fixing the cracked head wasn't THAT bad. THE ONLY reason I got it, was my 390 Galaxie was drinking gas, and running poorly. I needed something cheaper on fuel. I just happened to find a GTX. Insuring the two cars is cheaper than just the Z. I have NO worries about the 323. If I crash it, good thing it wasn't my Z. Also, when I do drive the Z, I think I appreciate it that much more. So smooth, so STRONG. I couldn't find a Galant, BUT my 323 has Galant VR4 brakes, drilled for that matter. ;) For a daily driver, I think AWD is the way to go, that is if you have to deal with lots of rain, or snow from time to time. I also like razing the poor RWD folks. ;)
